Experience a One-of-a-Kind Blasket Island Ferry Tour in Ireland!

Take a fast passenger ferry from Dingle Marina to the Great Blasket Island. When you exit Dingle Harbour, sit back and soak in the scenery as you go around Slea Head and approach the Great Blasket Island.

The island, evacuated in 1953, was home to many famous Irish writers including Peig Sayers. Walk the 1100 acres of unspoiled and largely mountainous terrain, relax on the beautiful beach or explore the abandoned village and the fascinating cultural and literary history of Blasket Island.

This trip requires at least 10 participants to run. If this minimum is not met, the trip is subject to cancellation

Please arrive in Dingle at least 30 minutes before departure if you need to find parking.

What to bring

  • Bring good footwear as the paths on the island can be steep and are unpaved.
  • Bring your e-ticket to the marina office to collect your boarding pass (screenshots accepted).
